Contact: [email protected] Music teacher at Salk and Emerson schools
My name is Mrs. Taormina and I am excited to be a part of the music department at Fraser Public schools. I am a graduate of Wayne State University and I love all aspects of music; teaching, listening, playing and performing. In addition to teaching at Salk and Emerson schools, I am a member of the Macomb Symphony Orchestra where I play the flute and piccolo and am a active member of the Detroit Orff Schulwerk Association. DOSA is a professional music association that promotes and teaches the the philosophy of Carl Orff. It includes singing, playing a variety of classroom instruments, movement, folk dancing, creating and composing. I have been married to Pete for over 20 years and we have two children. Welcome to my weebly page. My weebly features activities for students to explore beyond the music classroom, in addition to, videos of talented musicians playing unique and incredible performances. Thank you for supporting the creative arts in Fraser schools.
